Hi, I’m Tim St. John. I serve as the Counseling Pastor at Lighthouse Community Church in Torrance, CA, where I have the joy of walking with people through the care and comfort of Christ. My heart is to see gospel-centered counseling grow in local churches so that every community grows more like Christ by speaking the truth in love.

I’m the author of After Church Hurt: Healing in the Care of the Good Shepherd and the minibook Uncovering Domestic Abuse. I also serve on the Council Board of the Biblical Counseling Coalition and the Editorial Board for the SOLA Network.

My hope is that this space provides resources to help you care for your church and draw near to the Shepherd who loves you.
